Papercraft Final: Stereo

 Rhino Work:

This is the redone model in Rhino.

This is all the pieces and unfolded pieces before I made them 2D.

Renderings:

These are the renderings, it's missing a lot of details but this is as far as I can get with Rhino.

PDFs:

These are the PDFs, I actually ended up printing them on 11x17  plain paper so that I would have an easier time folding the smaller parts.

Final Object:

This is the final product. I used construction paper which was unfortunately pretty flimsy so the structure has some pretty significant gaps. I took my classmate's and instructor's advice and made the top open up and attached it with paper strips. I also cut out a design for the speakers, although I simplified it a lot from the real object. I added little details on the black squares as well to make it look more legit. The structure is much bigger than last time, which made it a lot easier to fold, especially the dials. The dials have a different design for folding, which made it way easier. I also split the main structure into 3 parts which on one hand made the object more solid but also made it look a little messy. Overall, I'm okay with how it turned out. I like the ideas and details, but I'd definitely find a way to make the structure neater next time.
