Day 1 Object

Description:

I came up with the idea to make a lamp when, in the beginning of the documentary, an alarm clock was shown. They described how every day objects are the products of designers, things that you interact with constantly without thinking about it. Alarm clocks are one thing that typically goes on nightstands, as well as lamps, which is why I designed one to go along with the theme. My lamp is very simple, with a round middle and a base with grooves. I tried to make a lightbulb as well, but it didn't show up very well in the screenshots. I also went with a pyramid lampshade since it gives off a more modern feel to it.
